Medicalisation for trans women is rarely, “Oh, you need hormones? For medical reasons? For dysphoria? Fine, sign here, and take this to the pharmacy. Have a nice day!”

it’s, “You’re wearing jeans. You’re clearly not serious about this. See me again in six months and make sure you’re wearing something pretty.”

It’s, “Why aren’t you growing your hair out? Why haven’t you started electrolysis yet? I know it’s expensive, but if you were serious, then you’d find the money. See me again in six months and make sure you’ve had your hair styled and made some progress on beard removal.”

It’s, “Tell me about your childhood. Was your father absent a lot? Absent a little? Did he work? Was he ever out of the room? Uh-huh, let’s see… absent father figure, clearly homosexual, not transsexual… Okay, see me again in six months.”

And make sure you’re so repulsed by your body you couldn’t even dream of having sex or romantic relationships of any kind! And when you do develop a sex drive/desire for romantic relationships (which will be after you get a vagina and not a moment sooner) you have to be 150% into dudes or else you’re a straight man fetishising yourself and women (and God fucking help you if you’re a lesbian!). And make sure you’re beautiful in a way that makes me, personally, want to fuck you - which I can do at any time just by saying its this or no hormones. But nah, medicalisation is necessary so that people will “take us seriously” and stop “transtrenders” from regretting transition, like anyone would go through this bullshit on a whim because they want to feel “special”
