I honestly find it hard to believe that neurotypicals…exist. Like there are people that have never had a panic attack or a suicidal thought, they’ve never experienced hallucinations or extreme paranoia, they’ve never stayed awake at night wondering if everybody hates them or what’s wrong with them.
I can’t wrap my head around the idea of being in a good state of mind, like, ever.

I ask my husband all the time what its like to not live with anxiety and he cant answer me.

Seriously. What’s it like to want to get up in the morning, and to feel refreshed by sleep? What’s it like to have a conversation and only have to focus on what’s being said, rather than continually monitoring every minute detail of your posture, your inflection, the speed at which you’re talking, the way you gesture, etc., etc., for every moment of the interaction and then maintaining the conversation on top of all of that? What’s it like to enjoy being outside where people can see you? What’s it like to enjoy being seen?

Fucking baffling.
